What if my child has a food allergy?
Centres must follow safety protocols for children with allergies. Every Centre has different safety protocols for handling a child’s allergies. Parents will be asked to provide information about their child’s allergy, and additional information may be needed if it’s life-threatening. It is important that food allergies and sensitivities are shared with the Centre providers. If the child is anaphylactic and requires Epipen or other medication, a form is generally completed by the physician and parents. Epipens and medication are stored in a safe spot out of reach from the children and administered by a qualified staff member.
Every Centre is different - it is recommended to check with the Centre you are interested in.
