How many children are enrolled with a provider in a home-based child care setting?

Providers licensed with the Ministry of Education can have a total of six children in their care (including their own). The provider can only have three children under the age of two.

Providers own children do not count in the ratio if they attend school (four years and up). If their children are under four years of age, they do count in the ratio.
